Madonna High School will celebrate Homecoming week beginning on Monday, October 8. The themes, activities and events are as follows:
Monday (10/8): Country/ Hick Day! – Wear your best redneck attire on this day! Overalls, flannels, boots, camo! (Dress code still applies; appropriate jeans and appropriate lengths of shorts!).
End of the day activity is Volleyball.
Tuesday (10/9): Grandparents/Senior Citizen Day! – Dress as your grandparent or any senior citizen! Slippers, walkers, all other attire must be respectable to dress code rules! (Example: NO pajamas. Blouses, and all other attire must be APPROPRIATE).
End of the day activity is Grandparent Trivia. Bring your grandparent or an influential senior citizen to play Grandparent Trivia……How well do you know your grandparent?
Wednesday and Thursday (10/10-11): No themes. PSAT and Mass
Friday (10/12): Movie Character Day! Dress as your favorite movie character! PLEASE make attire and characters appropriate!
End of the day activity is Mock Court and Karaoke.

The Homecoming parade will take place on Friday, October 12. Line-up will begin at 5:30 pm in Frankovitch, Anetakis, Simon Law Office parking lot on Penco Road. The parade will begin at 6:00PM. Pep Rally will begin in the Bill Barrett Gymnasium with skits and the crowning of Homecoming King.
Saturday (10/13) The Homecoming game against Van is scheduled for a 1:00 pm kickoff. Before the game is the Alumni Tailgate beginning at 11:00 am. The Homecoming queen will be crowned during half time by selection of the odd colored rose.
