Madonna High School is pleased to announce that Mr. Jason Heckathorn will be the Assistant Principal starting in the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Heckathorn has been a history/social studies teacher for the last six years. He has a bachelor’s degree from West Liberty University, a bachelor’s degree in Education from Wheeling University, and is in the process of working on his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wheeling University. 

As Assistant Principal Mr. Heckathorn will be responsible for facilitating high student achievement, offering necessary support to students for high achievement goals, and promoting the mission of Madonna High School and the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. He will also oversee the athletic programs. Principal, Mr. Philip Rujak, is pleased to welcome Mr. Heckathorn to the Madonna High School administration and is looking forward to working with him in this new role.
