Madonna has been approved & scheduled for Financial Aid 101/FAFSA Workshop sponsored by the CFWV (College for West Virginia – WV Higher Education Policy Commission) on Wednesday, February 7th at 5:00pm in the Madonna Library.
It is strongly recommended that all SENIORS & SENIOR Parents/Guardians register to attend using the link below.
Beginning at 5:00pm, there will be a presentation called Financial Aid 101. After that anyone who would like to file FAFSA that night will be able to stay and do just that. You will have free, confidential help from the WV Higher Education Policy Commission.
Please click on the link above to register. It would be great if we could register sooner than later. Dependent upon how many register determines how many representatives the WVHEPC will send to Madonna that evening. Many details and Q&As are included in the link above as well.
SENIORS > create your FSA ID (Username and PW) It must be created 3 – 5 days prior to actually filing FAFSA!!!! Go to Studentaid.gov to create your FSA ID
PARENTS WHO DON’T HAVE AN FSA-ID (for example, if this is your first child going to college) > create your FSA IS at Studentaid.gov > It must be created 3 – 5 days prior to actually filing FAFSA!!!
If you created an FSA ID (Username and PW) for an older child who is already in college, that FSA ID is still valid. DO NOT create a new one.
