Madonna High School offers the following testing programs that help with individual student evaluation and also school evaluation and curriculum development.
The PSAT is administered to all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in the fall. This test serves as a practice test for the SAT that may be taken for college entrance. Also, the PSAT is used nationally to determine qualification for NMSQT or National Merit Scholarship Program, which is a very prestigious scholarship award. Qualification can lead to scholarship offers for students.
The Terra Nova is administered to all freshmen and sophomores in the fall.  The Terra Nova test assesses student achievement in reading, mathematics, science, social studies, vocabulary, and spelling.  Terra Nova results are used for curriculum development.
The NCEA-IFG-ACRE is administered to all juniors in the spring to assess development in Religious Education.
ACT/SAT – The ACT and SAT, both college entrance assessments, are necessary for college admittance in most cases.
