On Sunday, December 20, 2020, Madonna High School held a CARE-avan. Students, alumni, family members, and Madonna staff drove through Serra Village in Weirton with signs and decorated cars to help spread some holiday cheer. The CARE-avan then drove to Brightwood Center in Follansbee where all walked outside to wave hello to the residents. The group then drove by Golden Oaks in Follansbee and honked their horns to let them know their residents were in their thoughts and prayers. Those participating were asked to bring canned goods and non-perishable items to donated to local agencies that address food insecurities.

We had 25 vehicles, 34 students, and 237 food items donated! A special thank you to the Weirton Police for providing us with an escort!
