The PSAT 8/9 and PSAT/NMSQT will be administered at Madonna on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Here is some information about the day:
- Make every attempt to be at school and ON TIME!!! There are NO MAKE-UPS this year! Last year collegeboard gave a make-up testing opportunity. As of this moment, none has been announced for the 2021 testing cycle
- Be at Madonna at 7:45.
- Freshmen enter through the cafeteria doors
- Sophomores & Juniors enter through the back doors
- Please make sure your calculator is an approved one. (PSAT 8/9 approved calculator policy below) (PSAT/NMSQT approved calculator policy is in the Student Guide that was sent home last week) – Calculators will be checked prior to reporting to testing rooms.
- No watches, bracelets of any kind (except medic alert bracelets), or electronics of any kind (including cell phones) are permitted in testing rooms.
- Dress code = jeans or sweats (no leggings or yoga pants), Madonna tops (No Hoodies of any kind, even Madonna approved hoodies- this is a collegeboard guideline)
- There will be no breakfast served prior to testing this year, however a variety of healthy snacks, water, and juice will be provided during testing breaks.
- 9th graders will be dismissed around 11:40, give or take a few minutes dependent upon how things go throughout the testing period
- 10th & 11th graders will be dismissed around 11:50, give or take a few minutes dependent upon how things go throughout the testing period
- All students are encouraged to take these testing opportunities seriously
- All students are encouraged to get a good night’s sleep the night before the PSATs
- All students are encouraged to eat a good breakfast prior to coming to school on test day
- For JUNIORS…this is your one and only chance to qualify for National Merit Scholarships – there are no MAKE-UPS!
