The GFWC Weirton Woman’s Club sponsored an art contest for high school students in Weirton. Three expert judges completed a thorough process of selecting three winners for best overall in the visual arts category. Recently, local chairperson, Delores Azzarello announced that there were 2 winners from Madonna High School.

2ND Place Winner KACEY GLASPELL with an award of $75.00
3RD Place Winner JOSH BENNETT with an award of $50.00
Kacey and Josh’s art works have advanced at the state level in March, and will have the chance to win a cash prize of $250 for 1st place and $150 for 2nd place.
Our Best Wishes and Good Luck are extended to Kacey and Josh in the state of West Virginia GFWC Art Contest scheduled in March.
