The Joseph J. Krivak Memorial Tuition Assistance Fund was established as a memorial for Coach Joe Krivak, a football coach who passed away on Christmas Day 2012. Coach Krivak began his career as a teacher and a coach at Madonna High School, where he spent 11 years beginning in 1958.  From his Madonna days, he went on to coach at the collegiate level at Syracuse University, University of Maryland, Navy, and University of Virginia. Coach Krivak was born in nearby Central City, PA and claimed Syracuse University as his college Alma Mater where he played football as an offensive lineman and linebacker.
