The Madonna High School Class of 2021 will graduate at 11:00am on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in the Finnegan Fieldhouse at Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Dr. Kristen Finley Sobota ’00, will be the guest speaker.
At Madonna, Kristen was the Valedictorian, the President of National Honor Society, Student Council Vice President, and participated in Rhododendron Girls State, Weirton Chamber of Commerce Business Symposium, Jefferson County/Ohio Valley Youth Leadership Program, and the Weirton Medical Center Volunteer Program. She was a member of the Art Club, Foriegn Language Club, Interact Club, Medical Careers Club, Pep Club, S.A.D.D., and was on the Yearbook staff. Kristen was a member of the 2000 OVAC 1A Champion cheer squad and was the Homecoming Queen. She represented Madonna at the Ohio Valley Queen of Queens where she was named Miss Congeniality.
Kristen went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy with a doctorate in Pharmacy in 2006. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at The Ohio State University, where she was one of only five residents chosen throughout the country. After she completed her residency, she accepted a teaching position at the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy in 2007. In 2019 Dr. Sobota was promoted to Full Professor.
