Mr. Barrett started at Madonna High School in August of 1962. He had done his student teaching previously at Steubenville Big Red High School after he graduated from College of Steubenville. Mr. Barrett earned a Master’s Degree from West Virginia University in 1982. He has taught social studies, English, religion and have been librarian at Madonna. Mr. Barrett coached baseball for seven years and served as athletic director for 23 years. This is his 52nd year at Madonna. He presently teaches three classes of Contemporary US History.
He and his wife Jeanne have been married for 25 years. They have two stepchildren, Nancy Basile and Louis Martin, and two grandchildren, Michael and Jane Basile.
