Scholarship opportunities for 2024

 

Applicants to The Future of Chemistry Scholarship for Women must: Self-identify as Female, be high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year, be pursuing a STEM* (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), MIQA (Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance), Technical, or Operation Manufacturing Support degree, have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). *Medical-related degrees are not eligible. Newview Community Educational Outreach Service Scholarship: For: A senior attending Oak Glen, Weirton, Madonna, or home school, who will be attending any institution of higher learning in the fall of 2022. This includes trade schools. Purpose: To be used at recipient’s discretion to help defray the costs of their continuing education. Criteria: GPA 2.5 or higher. Please attach a copy of transcript or home school equivalent. 500 word essay, “How Volunteering Changed My Life.” See Mrs. Granato for an application. Deadline is April 30

Northern Panhandle Veterans Council Scholarship > must be a legal dependent of an active duty/reserve service member or veteran, must plan to attend a full-time trade school, community college, college, or university immediately following HS graduation. The exception would be for those who join military service in reserve capacity and go to training after training and then enroll full time in one of the aforementioned things. paper application in Mrs. Granato’s office – deadline for submission is May 1

Scholarships are offered for Trade School, Nursing School, and undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Math, Metals and Technology. It is the company where Mrs. Holmes’ husband Guy works. Mr. Holmes’ boss wanted to make sure that Madonna seniors have the chance to apply. Morgan Owens was previously awarded one of these scholarships. Details & due dates are included in the link. Student Leader Scholarship Program | Vitalant: Through Vitalant’s Student Leader Scholarship Program you could earn up to a $1,000 scholarship this summer by hosting a virtual blood drive. Read through the details on the link to verify eligibility.

International Titanium Association Scholarship Program: Be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll, or current undergraduate students already enrolled, in a full-time science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) undergraduate field of study at an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire 2024-2025 academic year; Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent; Be nominated by an employee of an International Titanium Association member company.
