Madonna High School is proud to take part in the 22-a-Day Push-Up Challenge from November 3 through December 2, 2025.
The 22-a-Day Push-Up Challenge is dedicated to combating the rising veteran suicide rate in the United States. On average, 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide each day, a heartbreaking statistic that this initiative works tirelessly to change through awareness, support, and treatment programs for veterans and their families.
As part of this challenge, students are encouraged to complete 22 push-ups each day in support of our Veterans and their families. This symbolic act serves as a daily reminder of the sacrifices our veterans have made and our shared commitment to stand with them and their families in solidarity and support.
Through this effort, Madonna High School hopes to raise awareness within our school community, show gratitude for our nation’s heroes, and promote mental health advocacy for those who have served.
Let’s stand Blue Don strong—22 push-ups at a time.

A heartfelt thank-you to Chris Jonczak for speaking with our Blue Dons today about his experiences serving as a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan, and for introducing our students to the 22 a Day Challenge in support of our veterans.
