On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Madonna High School inducted 8 new members into their Hall of Fame during the Induction Ceremony held at Williams Golf & Country Club. Lisa Conti ‘75 and HOF Class of 2020 was the emcee for the evening. A video presentation with pictures of inductees and their families were presented for all to enjoy and reminisce on their time at Madonna as a student, teacher, coach or volunteer. Each new member received an individual plaque; and a commemorative panel has been added to the Madonna High School Hall of Fame Wall at the school. Madonna High School would like to thank Starvaggi Charities, Weirton Medical Center, The James White Construction Company, Hancock County Savings Bank and Michael and Robin Nogay for their financial support.

This year’s class consisted of Leah Alexandra Comis ’06, Jason D’Alesio ‘96 and Max Nogay ’10 were inducted in the category of Athletic Excellence; Raymond L. Kaczynski (posthumously), Joseph J. LaMantia, Jr. ’69, and Jean Shotting were inducted in the category of School Service; John Lesho, Sr. ’59 was inducted in the category of Coaching Excellence; and Luke R. Myers ’03 was inducted in the category of Stewardship.

The Madonna High School Hall of Fame exists to recognize outstanding alumni and school supporters for their significant achievements and contributions to Madonna High School. These individuals and organizations provide a source of pride and distinction to the Madonna Family. These role models also present an inspiration and incentive for current and future students. Nominations for the Class of 2026 will be accepted beginning in the fall of 2025.
