Recently the Junior class and Mrs. Canella’s Spanish 3 class participated in the Festival of Filipino Martyrs held at St. Joseph the Worker Church. The students participated in the special mass with Fr. Manny and then served at the reception that occurred immediately afterward. In addition the Juniors assisted with the clean-up on Sunday morning.
The Festival of Filipino Martyrs celebrates the lives of San Lorenzo Ruiz and San Pedro Calungsod. The proceeds of the festival benefit the Alay-Buhay Medical and Humanitarian Mission in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines
