Madonna High School will celebrate Spirit Week beginning on Monday, September 25. The following is the schedule for the week:
Monday – Tacky Tourist Day with Volleyball being the end of the day activity.
Tuesday – Disney Day, and Obstacle and Musical Chairs being the end of day activity.
Wednesday – School uniforms and mass. Wednesday evening will be the parade beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by a Pep Rally and Kings Court at the school gymnasium.
Thursday – Generations Day ( Seniors -80’s, Juniors – 70’s, Sophomores – 60’s, Freshmen – 50’s); Afternoon activity will be Court Activities and games – three legged race, best friend trivia, and wheelbarrow race.
Friday – Spirit Day with students wearing Madonna wear. The end of the day activity is carnival activities. A Madonna Alumni Tailgate is planned prior to the football game at the stadium beginning at 5:00 pm followed by the Blue Don Football team playing Matthews at 7:00 pm. The Homecoming queen will be crowned during half-time.
Saturday – Homecoming dance will be held on at Pepsi Cola Roadhouse in Burgettstown, Pa. The following is the schedule:
4:30 pm – Freshmen arrive for pictures
5:00 pm – Sophomores arrive for pictures
5:30 pm – Juniors arrive for pictures
6:00 pm – Seniors arrive for pictures
6:15 pm – Court Pictures
6:30 pm – Dinner
7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Dancing
10:00 pm – Parents may pick up students.
