Congratulations Junior Dillon Shaw who won 100 wins in the semifinal states tournament. Dillon ended this wrestling season with a record of 46 and 4, 30 of the 46 wins were pins. Dillon started wrestling when he was nine years old; he got involved in the sport due to watching his brothers. Shaw wrestled his freshman year at Brooke and ended the season with 54 wins and 7 losses. His sophomore year he transferred to Madonna. He was injured during football season and couldn’t wrestle that year. Dillon wrestles in the 120 weight class. He placed 2nd in OVAC and 2nd and in states this year. As well as his 100th Win, Dillon was awarded Most Outstanding Wrestler. Shaw’s favorite wrestling move is the “double leg”. Dillon plans on wrestling the same weight class next year and winning OVAC, States and he would also like to go undefeated next season.
