Mrs. Kohelis teaches AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics–courses she taught at Brooke High School for 22 years. She currently serves as the College Board advisor on the AP Microeconomics Development Committee. Additionally, she is a consultant for the College Board and a Question Leader at the AP Microeconomics Exam Reading. In 1990, she was chosen as West Virginia Economics Teacher of the Year, and in 2004, she was a state finalist for West Virginia Teacher of the Year.
She resides in Colliers, WV with her husband, John. She has two sons—Pete, married to Beth Barnabei, and Gus, married to Regina Anastasis.
